1. Who we are
Medicine Reminder ("the app") is developed by RoManiacX, an independent developer. Contact: contact@romaniacx.com.
2. Information the app handles
To work, the app stores the following only on your device:
- Medicine names, doses and schedules you add
- Dose history (taken, skipped or missed)
- Stock and purchase records you enter
- App settings such as theme and notification preferences
The app has no account, no sign-in, no analytics and no ads. Nothing is sent to RoManiacX or any third party.
3. Permissions
- Notifications: to remind you when a dose is due.
- Exact alarms: so reminders arrive on time.
- Run at startup: to restore your reminders after the phone restarts.
- File access (only when you choose): to save or open a backup file.
4. Backup
You can export your data to a backup file and import it later. The file is saved where you choose. It is not encrypted, so store and share it carefully.
5. Medical disclaimer
The app is a reminder tool, not medical advice. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions. Reminders depend on your device's settings (such as battery optimisation and Do Not Disturb) and may not always be delivered.
6. Data deletion
Delete individual items in the app, or uninstall the app / clear its data to remove everything. Backup files you exported remain until you delete them.
7. Children's privacy
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
8. Changes to this policy
Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
